Installment of Dental Crowns and Bridges
Crowns are most often installed in individuals who have lost several teeth as a way to establish a

If a damaged tooth is being replaced or covered, the first appointment will also consist of removal of
decay. Once the decay is removed, the tooth will then be properly shaped in order to install the crown.
Next, the temporary crown is installed and the bite of the patient is checked to ensure proper eating
and speaking before the next appointment.
The second appointment usually consists of the temporary crown being removed. After this, the actually
tooth underneath is cleaned and readied for installment of the crown. The crown is then carefully
installed and inspected to ensure the most accurate and beneficial bite possible.
Veneers are permanent fixtures that correct imperfections on one or several teeth. Dental veneers are
thin shells of porcelain or composite that are custom made to fit over your natural teeth, providing a
natural, attractive look. Veneers are installed in the front of the teeth or order to correct the following:
- Chipped tooth
- Gaps between teeth
- Worn down or uneven teeth
Installation of Veneers
The typical process takes one to two dental appointments. If the veneer is prefabricated it usually takes
one appointment and if the laboratory is creating the veneer it takes two appointments.

sensitivity, it can be used if needed. Your North Miami Veneer dental office will clean the tooth and

of the tooth to provide room to place the veneer on the tooth.
